Visual Essay, Easter in Yen Bai Province - Holy Week took on particular significance for Lovers of the Holy Cross sisters who helped prepare Hmong ethnic villagers in the mountainous province of Yen Bai in northwestern Vietnam celebrate the holiest time of the year for the first time in decades.
Contemplate This - Jesus was a teacher. All those who chose to follow him were invited to see things differently. To wake up to what is really there. For me, that is the invitation to contemplation. Holy Week is a solemn time to take time. I'd invite you to make sitting in contemplation a priority during these days leading up to and following Easter.
Lenten reflection - Every time I start thinking I am a pretty good person, I get a little note from the Spirit reminding me I have a long way to go.
I believe that a oneness exists between the sufferings of creation and the sufferings of Christ.
