Opening of Haehn Museum's 2022 Exhibit

Event date: Thursday, April 21, 2022, 4-6:30 p.m.

You are invited to join the Haehn Museum for the opening of our 2022 exhibit:

“By the Work of Her Hands”
The Art of Sister Dennis Frandrup

The exhibit opening and reception will take place Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 4–6:30 p.m. "By the Work of Her Hands" celebrates the vast array of art forms mastered by the hands of Sister Dennis Frandrup. Respected by colleagues, admired by her students of the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, and recognized by other artists, S. Dennis has been producing art for over 50 years. In this exciting exhibit, the teacher and artist come together to offer beauty to a weary world. It continues through Friday, December 23, 2022. After experiencing a museum tour, guests are invited to visit Whitby Gift Shop, where many items handmade by S. Dennis, as well as other sisters and artisans, will be available for purchase.

The Art and Heritage Place is located at Saint Benedict’s Monastery, 104 Chapel Lane, St. Joseph, MN, 56374, and houses the Haehn Museum and Whitby Gift Shop. Hours are Tuesday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It is closed Sundays and Mondays.
