One of hundreds of houses destroyed by the typhoon in the town of San Francisco, Southern Leyte. The Mercy sisters brought goods for some 300 families, each family receiving 5 kilos of rice, 5 liters of water, canned goods, dried fish, coffee, sugar, biscuits, candles, bath soap, laundry detergent, and pail.
