At least 30,000 people gathered in Carthage, Missouri, for the Marian Days festival, the first held since 2019 because of the COVID pandemic. The events are organized by the Congregation of the Mother of the Redeemer, a men's religious order from Vietnam that settled in Missouri in the 1970s. Marian Days started in 1978. (Peter Tran)
