Sr. Rose Namulisa Balaluka is a member of the Dorothy of Cemmo Sisters in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo. Fluent in English, French and local languages like Kiswahili and Mashi, she has worked in public relations and communication for the Sisters of the Resurrection in Bukavu, and represents them in their partnership with Medicines for Humanity. Her research interests are in child protection and the promotion of women's rights, and she has written a book on Language Terms of Justice in the Shi Culture.
