Mary Rose Barnabas Kisanga is a member of the Little Sisters of St. Francis. After her profession she served as deputy head teacher of a primary school before studying for a diploma in secondary education. Since then she has taught at a Maasai primary school, a minor seminary, and served as a sacristan and an accountant in a parish. Presently, she is the vocation animator for her congregation in North Eastern Region of Tanzania, and the child protection officer for the same region.

Workshop empowers us to raise our voices for the voiceless

I traveled 12 hours to attend a workshop organized by Africa Faith and Justice Network, and the Tanzanian Catholic Association of Sisters. The workshop inspired me to raise my voice against trafficking and abuse of the vulnerable.
