Poonam Kujur is a member of the congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame, Patna. She is the eldest girl in a middle-class educated family from the Jaspur Diocese, in Chattisgarh, India. Having made her final profession in 2006, she has been in her congregation for over 20 years.

Rooted in Eucharist, parents deeply influence nun's faith, life

My parents' faith was deeply rooted in the Eucharist. They also encouraged their children to pursue education with commitment and passion. Today, I am happy with who I am, I love being a Christian, and I am grateful for my parents' influence.
