Patty Cook is a member of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas living in East Haven, Connecticut. She served as a chaplain at Corrigan-Radgowski Correctional Center, a maximum-security facility for men, as well as at two other correctional facilities. Presently, she is a spiritual director and retreat director at Mercy by the Sea retreat center; in the year prior to the pandemic, she led retreats on four continents.
