Mary Paul Wamatu is a Missionary Sister of the Precious Blood from Kenya. She previously served as provincial superior and general councilor for her congregation, chair of the Association of Sisterhoods of Kenya, and on the leadership committees of Tanzanian Catholic Association of Sisters and the Association Consecrated Women of East and Central Africa. Presently she is regional leader of her congregation in the Congo.

Despite organizational change and constant challenges, strong Gospel life prevails in Democratic Republic of Congo

At an October meeting in the Democratic Republic of Congo, women and men major superiors voted to combine their conferences into one conference. The change was in response to a directive by the Congregation of Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life.
