Kathy Roberg, a Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration, taught elementary school in several states for 21 years. Later, she served as a director of religious education, a youth minister and a teacher of English as a second language. Currently living in Spokane, Washington, she serves immigrants, women and children, and homeless people, and volunteers at the Women and Children’s Free Restaurant and Community Kitchen.
