Jayne Helmlinger is a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. She has an academic background in business, administration, and health care mission, and a certificate in spiritual direction. Before transitioning into mission integration, Helmlinger worked 25 years as a health care executive, holding various management positions and serving on numerous Catholic health care boards. Within her congregation, Helmlinger has served in positions related to formation, health care, and finance; she is currently in her second term as general superior of her congregation. She has served the Leadership Conference of Women Religious as a board member, president and president.

3 years of LCWR leadership inspire soul work in changing, challenging world

Encountering sisters who were younger and older has truly enriched my life as a woman religious. We all share the same vocational call, and we express it through our particular charisms. This was a personal aha experience for me and one that I will continue to nurture for the remainder of my life.
