Edita Eslopor is a member of the Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing, Manila Priory. Originally a social worker, she was attracted to the service of the rural poor. She is also a member of the Rural Missionaries of the Philippines, a partner institution of the Conference of Major Superiors in the Philippines. As coordinator of community-based health programs, she facilitates the organizing and training of community health workers to manage a sustainable health care program for people living in poverty.
